Why Tuesday
Tuesday’s with Morrie is still one of the books I have kept on my book shelf despite the fact that I had already donated lot of my books to the library. Mitch Albom spent fourteen weeks with his dying professor. Roughly translated to three months, this experience radically transformed his life.
A guy name Chad has nicely summaries each week in his blog.
Why minimalist?
One year ago, I realised materials possessions are not really necessary after reading a a book named ”goodbye, things” written by a Japanese. I have since shop less and spend my time with family and friends.
There are many people chasing after owning things or doing stuffs like dieting to impress others, being someone who is not themselves and being with people or in jobs that don’t make them feel good.
Some are still chasing after purpose in life and by the time one turns back, half a century is gone.
I also came to realize that there is an age-old philosophy, which is an operating system we can use.
And have you ask yourself, is life short?
This is a story of an ordinary person who wants to lead an extraordinary life. Testing out the fact that even you have nothing, you can create something different.
