Second Thursday feeling sorry for yourself

Do you use to complain? Food is too salty, weather is  too hot, the bus is so slow and the list goes on forever.

What about blaming everything in the world and feeling of being a victim of circumstances?

Do you feel that no matter how hard you try, it’s not enough? “Not enough” symptom causes one to feel inadequate. Not good enough, not tall enough, not pretty enough and not clever enough.

I am fortunate enough my parents don’t set high expectations for me. To repay them, I always strive to make them proud.

Those questions above, I had been through all of them. The mind just rumble and on. Until one day, I started headspace meditation. Just yesterday, words from others don’t hurt so much. Although I wasn’t happy with nasty words, I didn’t get angry.

Start 10 minutes each day for ten days first, then if you wish just continue. As human, I did stop a little then start again. It’s not consistent.

Overtime, feel less sorry for yourself and learn to appreciate the things around us.
